Planting activity

Zanzibar Climate Change Alliance in collaboration with Kibele and Uzi communities engaged on tree planting activity as to participate on the on going activities which are carried out to commemorate the world environmental day which get the climax on 5th June each year.

The total of 1500 transplants were plantedby the members from ZACCA and those two communities on 22nd and 28th May,2019 respectively. Tree planting activity is one among the most important activity on the measures carried out to balance the adaptation and the mitigation activities.

An umbrella NGO committed to work on climate change & Conservation in their own programmes as well as through advocacy. It brings together development and environment organizations, those with technical skills and those with a more delivery and advocacy focus.
